MP Sloan receives second summons for exercising his Charter-Guaranteed right

One of these very important ideas is that the most important role of government is to safeguard our freedoms from those who would seek to remove them.

MP Derek Sloan

Last Thursday, MP Derek Sloan received his second summons to appear in court for exercising his Charter-guaranteed right to peacefully assemble and protest, this time for speaking at a rally that was held in Chatham on April 27.

Not backing down at all, MP Sloan continues to speak out about what is happening in Canada.

“They can do this as much as they like, I will never stop standing up for freedom!

Canadians continue to be subject to the whims of politicians and health bureaucrats who still embrace the path of draconian restrictions, even while the evidence that lockdowns destroy lives and livelihoods, far more than any virus ever would have, is staring us all right in the face.

With 238,000 business foreclosures forecast, it’s obvious that the only thing restrictions stop the spread of is Canadian prosperity.

With a mental health crisis among Canadian youth, we know that lockdowns are taking a tragic toll on children that we will feel for a generation.

With overdose deaths increasing astronomically in every Canadian region, it’s clear we aren’t saving lives by locking down, we’re losing them.

I am ashamed that this is happening in Canada, but it’s happening right now.

Coercing Canadians into experimental medical procedures is illegal and dangerous. Targeting children as young as 12 to receive them, for a disease that poses no threat to them, without parental consent, is simply unconscionable.

In March, I started a petition to the Government of Canada in support of the principle of informed choice and against any plan to institute any “vaccine passport” or “immunity certificate” program in Canada which would regulate access to travel, work, public events, or anything else based on vaccine status.

I am now sponsoring an e-petition, which will receive an official government response. This e-petition has already been signed nearly 50,000 times.

I have a much simpler plan for opening up and returning Canada back to normal life.

Open up! Right now!

The lockdown argument is falling apart, it is unsupported by evidence.

Kids need to be back at school, back with their friends, and back at play. Their parents need to be back at work.

We all need to socialize, dine, shop, travel, exercise, and live again.”

He is asking for citizens of Canada who want their rights and freedoms back need to sign this e-petition today. Even if you have already signed the original petition. You can sign it here and send it to others who may be interested.
